My concept is from Iris .Iris, it controlling the diameter and size of the pupils and the amount of light reaching the pupil. It changes colors like a rainbow.
An iris map is used as a guide to show a practitioner which parts of the eye relate to the different organs in the body. The iris is like a map of the body - changes in certain organs are reflected in specific parts of the iris.
Iris can mapping a specific time of body information. The project record an environment condition. Transform invisible information into physical environment.
As we inhabit these spaces, it becomes harder to comprehend the invisible, hidden flows of information. Such as sound air and light full of environment.
The project is utilized in converting the sound environment into real environment. And create an immersive light and sound space that actualizes environmental conditions and human presence.
The project patterns reflect a spatial condition of real time environment sound, transform sound data to virtual image, and also transform itself as a life form.
Upon entering the environment, the user is connected to sensors which senses the environment sound, then sends it to a computer program (which is Max/Msp/Jitter). The program then translates this data, and coherent patterns found in real-time. The installation incorporates a smoke machine controller which allows the user through the virtual environment while exploring the physical. The project images throw smoke and mirror, physically the light experience. The method of textual works with light as virtual ink that through a smoke area with the real-time environment. Also, throw this computer program, create sound space that transform from real-time sound. Those sound and physically light experience, together, they reveal the sensory experiences.
